Introducing Trot Your Globe's event collaborations - a platform where young people work alongside industry leaders to create immersive fitness events in South Africa. Our objective goes beyond promoting wellness, as we also strive to raise social consciousness.
Our Director, Toka Lintsa, was a Miss Earth SA finalist in 2012 and used her affiliation to host a talent competition called 'Trot My Globe'. This event was a short-term objective to raise funds for MESA, but it transformed into a lifelong mission within Trot Your Globe. Our mission is to empower the youth with a platform that promotes boundless energy, creativity, and authentic expression.
Less than a year after the success of 'Trot My Globe', Toka won a competition hosted by Trace TV to watch the Beyonce Mrs Carter concert in London - a performance that all our instructors aspire to. Toka describes the feeling of belonging she experienced at the O2 arena and how music and dance can take you on a mental tour of places that introduce you to high serotonin levels, where endorphins and oxytocin meet. This is the atmosphere we strive to create during every fitness class and event. Our team's love for travel and culture, attention to detail, positive energy, and passion for diverse cultures is what catapults us to great heights.
As Toka headlined the Fit Loose fitness event at the Sandton Convention Center in December 2022, she celebrated the year by sharing the experience with most of Trot Your Globe's dance-fitness instructors (Thato Immaculate & Julian Moreaux) and guest co-instructors to join in on the fun.
This event was on a News24 article as the perfect start to our 2023 calendar.
