International Women's Day, celebrated on March 8th, is a global holiday that honours the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. In 2017, the theme for International Women's Day was #BeBoldForChange, and Trot Your Globe embraced this theme by changing the colour of their logo as seen on this article's cover.
Trot Your Globe’s dedication to making a positive impact partnered with South Africa's beloved television personalities, radio hosts and PSL football players to celebrate the resilience we appreciate in all women. This event was filled with amazing prizes that were awarded through social media competition, and gifts were given out to everyone who attended.
The Siyanda Zwane Foundation, Gateway Media, Motlatsi Mafatshe, Thato Molamu, Motsoaledi Setumo, and Jabulani Ndlovu sponsored the event and Trot Your Globe is grateful for their contributions. The positive energy and courage of every participant were appreciated, especially as they embraced the 'Be Bold For Change' theme.
Congratulations to the three ladies who walked away with a lunch with our celebrity sponsors, Virgin Active gym bags, and Trot Your Globe goodies. We are proud to have celebrated the resilience of women with such an amazing group of individuals.
