Kirsten embarked on her very first bike ride across the San Francisco Bridge, and later she accomplished an impressive 94.7km cycling challenge. Here is what she had to say about the valuable lessons she learned and shared while attending Stanford University's Trep Camp.

"Bikes, great people and a city to explore San Francisco, California! I am filled with awe for what I have experienced."

"The journey began when I recived acceptance to Trepcamp. I had to raise a significant amount in order to go. It would not have been possible without my parents, family, friends and even strangers who wanted to help me make it happen. I worked 3 jobs for the month before so I could contribute and I called, emailed and pestered every entrepreneur visible to me. Some days I was certain it would work out, mentally planning all the outfits I'd pack and some days I was sure that I wouldn't get it all together at all. But in the week before the trip, I am lucky to say that my parents managed to seal the deal and it all became a reality.

In recent months I have been fascinated by entrepreneirship and hungry to learn. I have been lucky to find people, books and magazines to answer some of my many questions along the way. But this experience at Trepcamp 2017 has been beyond anything I could have imagined. I have met people who have inspired me to do something with this hunger. To all the 2017 Stanford Treps, thank you for everything. You are all such genuinely beautiful people doing such amazing things and I wish you all the greatest success in all your journeys. I go home with an appreciation for cultures I had not, until now, been privileged to see. I got to see beautiful places and I gained a deeper insight into who I want to be.

Thank you to everyone who shared all my fundraising posts and emails and who shared good wishes and love. I feel so blessed and I can't wait to pay it forward"
