Competition Terms & Conditions:

The host of this competition is Trot Your Globe (Pty) Ltd

This competition is valid from 17:45 on the 1st September 2022 until 19:45 on the 1st September 2022.

This competition is opened to the following:

Any individual that submits the entry form, and rates the Trot Your Globe app within the valid time-period

or Any individual that enters it at the Trot Your Globe Fitness event in Flamingo Mooderfontein (hereafter 'event') on the the 1st September 2022

Those under age 18, must be accompanied by an adult to sign their consent form at the event on the 1st September 2022.

The grand-prize is a bespoke website sponsored by Nubian Royals. Kindly note that the winners will be announced at the event on the 1st September 2022 (CAT), where they may be required to confirm their identity for verification purposes.

Other prizes/ gifts include a 1-month free virtual fitness class entry into the Trot Your Globe daily online-aerobics classes.

The website grand-prize, does not include web-hosting services.

The grand-prize includes only the html,css & javascript web-design valued at R15 000,00

The prize is stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.

The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

Winners will be chosen: At random by a raffle-draw on the 1 September 2022.

The promoter and host is Trot Your Globe (Pty) Ltd and the prize sponsorships include Trot Your Globe (Pty) Ltd and Nubian Royals Stylists (Pty) Ltd.

This event will be featured on the Trot Your Globe website (www.trotyourglobe.com). Trot Your Globe (Pty) Ltd, Nubian Royals Stylists (Pty) Ltd and all the above mentioned sponsors will not be held liable for any dissatisfaction with regards to pictures taken or selected winners.

All winners are to have submit entry forms at the event on the 1st September 2022 OR digitally after entering via Trot Your Globe's social media post.

The winners of the competition will be announced at the event, once they've been raffeld & verified.

By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement is bound by these terms and conditions.

The following methods are the only and sole three methods for entering this competition:

1. Entrants are to review the Trot Your Globe mobile app on either Google's Play Store or on Apple's App Store, where they will leave a comment on their favourite feature of the Trot Your Globe app.

2. Entrants that are not present at the event, are to follow the instructions on the competition entry which will be posted on Trot Your Globe's Instagram Stories or Facebook Page.

3. All Entrants are to complete the entry form for verification purposes.

Entrants will be further required to follow Trot Your Globe on any of the two social media platforms (Facebook or Instagram) to double their entry, thus increasing their chances of winning

Only one entry from each method will be accepted per person. Participants are encouraged to enter through both the listed platforms of entry for a better chance.

The selected winner forfeit’s their right to the prize if they’re out of reach and don't respond to the email for more than one (1) month.

No purchase, payment, or other consideration is permitted, and the winner is picked at random.

This competition hosted by Trot Your Globe (Pty) Ltd, is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook & Instagram.

POPI means the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013;

The host, sponsors, all the entrants and stakeholders of this competition are strictly binded by the POPI Act, Nubian Royals privacy policy and Trot Your Globe's privacy policy

The host of this competition will not: copy, delete, alter, remove, or in any manner process, Data pertaining to any Data Subject. Personal Information may only be Processed by the Service Provider subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement as read with POPI.

Social media platforms are merely used to administer the contest.

By entering, You agree to release and hold harmless Trot Your Globe (Pty) Ltd, Nubian Royals Stylists (Pty) Ltd, and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) such entrant’s participation in the campaign and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries.

Trot Your Globe (Pty) Ltd reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Campaign should virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond Trot Your Globe (Pty) Ltd.’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Campaign. In such case Trot Your Globe (Pty) Ltd, may select the Winner from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken Trot Your Globe (Pty) Ltd Trot Your Globe (Pty) Ltd, reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Campaign or website or violates these Terms & Conditions. Trot Your Globe (Pty) Ltd, has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the Campaign, to void votes for any reason, including, but not limited to: multiple entries from the same user from different IP addresses; multiple entries from the same computer in excess of that allowed by Campaign rules; or the use of bots, macros, scripts, or other technical means for entering. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Campaign may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such attempt be made, Trot Your Globe (Pty) Ltd, reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by South African law.

The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry details submitted (the content submitted supplied to enter the competition). Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with the current South African data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrants’ prior consent.
